13092 - Amazing Huge Prognathodon anceps (Mosasaur) Tooth in Jaw Bone furca Comments: Submitted by HAmazing premium grade huge tooth in jaw bone of the Mosasaur, Prognathodon anceps, from the Upper Cretaceous phosphate deposits in the Oulad Abdoun Basin of Morocco. These teeth are collected as a by product of the massive phosphate mining operations in the area. This specimen has some restorations (filled fractures) between the crown and the root. In the international market is very common to find Mosasaurus rests coming from the phosphate quarries
